They mostly call me Savannah, but my real name is Susannah. I am currently in my second semester of nursing school while working in a trauma unit at a local hospital. On average, I drive about 130 miles a day to get to school and home and about 75 miles to work and home and am loving every minute of what I'm doing. Becoming a nurse was always a dream of mine, especially when I was little.
Fast forward to July of 2017 at about 10:30pm. I got home from a late night at work to a letter in the mail. I opened that letter and immediately was brought to tears. I had been accepted into nursing school! That night brought tears of happiness, nervousness, and excitement; as I was just about to begin my dream of becoming a nurse. It was finally coming true!
Nursing school is NOT easy and there are many challenged, but none that cannot be overcome. You have to take it one day at a time and make every second count.
I will not stop at getting my BSN but will continue on to a higher level. Where is that exactly? follow along as I document my journey as a nursing student and future ARNP!
